Life with Betty White
Devon More
How a Golden Girl taught me to reconnect with nature, time travel, and love myself. Songs and stories about how Betty White saved my life. A spoken word tale for animal lovers and tricksters, jokesters and beautiful bitches - interspersed with signature tunes from Devon More and her menagerie of musical instruments. Fresh off the release of a full length solo album, catch the infectious melodies, insightful lyrics, and delightful theatrics LIVE.
The Zoo Story
RadRock Productions
RadRock Productions presents Edward Albee's classic one-act play, The Zoo Story.
The Zoo Story is about Jerry and Peter, two strangers from different backgrounds, with different desires for human connection, who meet one day in New York's Central Park. What Follows is an encounter that will change both of their lives forever.
Featuring Kamloops actors Brandon Reid as Jerry and Derek Rein as Peter, The Zoo Story is directed by Dusan Magdolen.
Suddenly 50
Nicolle Nattrass
Suddenly 50 explores the journey of one woman’s rite of passage into 50.
Suddenly 50 is like the ultimate marathon Netflix series of LIFE. “Season 50” begins with a killer Opening, cliff-hangers, flashbacks to the past and a whole lot of midlife you didn’t expect including an all inclusive vacation with your aging parents, gall-bladder surgery and what to do with the broken pieces.
Nicolle will also be presenting a workshop: Creating Safer Spaces in Theatre, register HERE.
The Disney Delusion
Leif Oleson-Cormack
Award-winning comedian and playwright Leif Oleson-Cormack pushes confessional comedy to its limits in this show about a methodically moronic plan to double-down on unrequited love through a disastrous trip to Disneyland. Featuring criminal acts, surgically-altered sugar daddies, Sinatra impersonators, and a cynically-charged "coming out", this (unfortunately) true story is not to be missed.
Matchmaker on the Roof
Ellie Reynolds
Written and performed by Ellie Reynolds, directed by and developed with Bessie Wapp
Matchmaker on the Roof is a distinctly Kootenay-flavored one-woman show, telling the true tale of Ellie’s outrageous, Border-Crossing love affair. Fleeing her London home, along with her family’s hopes for a respectable Post-Cambridge career, she travels to BC with two desires: to sink her hands into the dirt, and to make her travel buddy fall in love with her. He doesn’t. Landing in none other than the city of Nelson, Ellie’s disappointed heart chakra is ripped open on the spiritual dance floor - leading her directly into the embrace of a stranger who turns out to be a ‘most unusual Match’.
Singing her way through familiar melodies from Fiddler on the Roof, and guided invisibly by a wise and mischievous Matchmaker, Ellie boldly breaks away from, wrestles with, and ultimately rediscovers Tradition and celebrates her newfound Miracle of Miracles.
Cabaret of Murder
Blair Moro: Singles Awareness Productions
John Wayne Gacy. Ted Bundy. Dennis Rader. Elizabeth Wettlaufer. David Koresh. Charles Manson. Erik Menendez. Cho Seung-Hui.
What do all of these people have in common? ART!… and also murder.
But mostly art.
Painting, poetry, music, and even plays.
Serial killers and murderers have created art before, during, and after their heinous crimes.

David Ivan Neil
Edge Club
David Ivan Neil makes music that longs for good listeners. Poetry on a bedroom wall. In the open, behind a locked door. Paint fast. Sing slow. A performer of closed eyes and pink cheeks, David says ‘Here’s my heart, please don’t stare’
“You can't just wish away depression and anxiety but there's a way to grow up with it that (David Ivan Neil) writes about so well. I'm a big fan of Dave's songwriting and the way it plays with convention while still being weird and outsiderish. The meditative repetition of the chords really slows you down and draws you into his world, where you're just as likely to hear a cliché pop lyric or a "Woo-woo-woo" as a heartbroken confession.” - Tim Clapp (Kingfisher Bluez)
David lives in Enderby, BC, Canada with his wife and kids. He makes art with his friends and understands he is lucky and tries to be grateful.
